Many restaurants offer free coffee OR discounted coffee for folks as young as 50! Though prices vary, for those accepting the AARP card, you can usually score your discount or freebie with your AARP card!
Don’t drink coffee? That’s ok, usually you can get the same offer for sodas as well!

Dunkin’
Dunkin’ ( AKA Dunkin Donuts) offers either free or discounted beverages for seniors. Our local Dunkin’ Donuts offers a free coffee with the purchase of a donut with an AARP card! They have never asked for an AARP card, we just ask for the senior discount and Voila! Keep in mind that many Dunkin Donuts locations are independently owned franchises, so discounts and availability of this offer will vary by location!

Burger King
If you are over the age of 60, Burger King will reduce the price of your coffee by fifty cents! Also, you can download the Burger King app for even more savings, including perks like a free beverage or meal discount! Offers may vary by location.

One of our favorite places for seniors, our local IHOP offers buy one meal get one free to folks over 55 on Wednesday nights! In addition, they offer 10% off of your entire order if you are over the age of 55. Some locations require an AARP card, and most locations offer a senior menu.

Denny’s offers AARP members 15% off of their entire order! You just have to 50 years old to snag this offer!
Friendly’s
Some Friendly’s locations offer free coffee to seniors 55 or over during breakfast hours only. Others also offer free ice-cream for seniors in the afternoon. Others will give you 10% off of your order. Keep in mind that offers vary by location since Friendly’s restaurants are franchises. All offers may be subject to a meal purchase.

Most McDonald’s restaurants offer discounted coffee and soda to seniors over the ae of 55 daily, Just ask for the ‘senior’ coffee or the ‘senior soda.’ As with other restaurants offered, discounted soda for seniors and discounted coffee for seniors may vary by location, as stores are franchised.
