It is absolutely gorgeous, but after two knee surgeries, I’ve been told not to climb that many stairs. I took the train instead and that was amazing! In fact, I was the only one who saw a brown bear near the top before he hid behind a boulder. We’ve done the train in both summer and winter and both were special in their own way.

If you do take the train ride, pick one where you can be in the absolute first row of the first car. Spectacular!
