    Container Gardening: Vegetables Help Please! ( Zone 7 )

    Last year I tried to grow tomatoes in a pot near my pool. I failed miserably. I tend to do well growing flowers but have never had success with container gardening vegetables. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

    Not sure if I have any tips but I grew tomatoes for the first time in a large pot last summer. I added a cage with netting so the birds wouldn’t peck at the tomatoes! I added coffee grounds at the bottom and some broken egg shells ( I read to do this somewhere!). I got alot of tomatoes…not real big but not tiny. They only got morning sun and may have done better with all day sun. Good luck!
