    Sorry Cindy, we had a little glitch and lost some posts yesterday but I am responding again!

    Basil and I have ridden the back of the dragon and he has ridden the tail of the dragon with me in a car behind him! LOL! I rode my Can-am on the Back.. let me find a photo 🙂

    Hi Cindy,

    My wife and I have been to both the Tail of the Dragon (NC) and the Back of the Dragon (Va). Both are great rides. I personally liked the Back of the Dragon better (longer ride with elevation changes). Also there are several more trails in that area that they call the Claw of the Dragon (didn’t have time to try those).
